Description

The femininity of Fleur de Rocaille

In 1933, Caron launched “Fleurs de Rocaille”, a flowery bouquet, opening with relatively discreet aldehyde notes. Opposing the tenderness of flowers to the harshness of rockery, the perfume “Fleurs de Rocaille” (then written with an S), is a poem in itself. A great success that the Caron house decided to revisit in 1993. “Fleur de Rocaille” (without S, this time), is a large bouquet of flowers, a unique contemporary creation.

The femininity of Fleur de Rocaille

The revisiting of “Fleur de Rocaille” is intended to be very floral and ultra feminine. He is much more feminine and spontaneous than his eldest. “Fleur de Rocaille” represents the ardor, the joy and the vivacity of the woman. The Caron woman is cheerful, luminous, happy to be alive and a bit sassy. Her fiery temperament makes her ultra attractive. “Fleur de Rocaille” is unique, like a woman, it is unlike any other perfume. The femininity of “Fleur de Rocaille” is contrasted between strength and fragility, between gentleness and determination. “Fleur de Rocaille” is the scent of a gentle woman, but lively, could not be more charming. The Caron woman is like a flower, a flower in the wonderful bouquet of “Fleur de Rocaille”.

The large olfactory bouquet of Fleur de Rocaille

“Fleur de Rocaille” looks like a huge bouquet of flowers, extremely soft and tender. “Fleur de Rocaille” therefore opens with an association of flowers, that of violet, gardenia, lily of the valley and lilac. Her heart is made up of the most feminine of flowers, the rose as well as jasmine and ylang-ylang. Brightness, richness, exoticism, are the main qualities of the composition here. The base is deeper, drier and earthier. Cedar wood is associated with iris, amber reveals its balsamic effect and sandalwood offers all its smoothness. Finally, the musks unleash their beautiful sensuality throughout the composition. As for the bottle, it is sober and elegant. It is dressed in flower petals that appear in relief on the glass. A luminous fragrance,

In 1933, the Caron house unveiled “Fleurs de Rocaille”, a very flowery fragrance. It was a great success, and “Fleurs de Rocaille” would long remain the best-selling perfume in the United States. It was in 1993 that Caron decided to revisit it. The new “Fleur de Rocaille” is intended to be more feminine and even more flowery. He combines many flowers to make the largest of bouquets. Strong and fragile at the same time, the “Fleur de Rocaille” composition reveals the beauty of each woman.
